I don't believe in judging art.

So a Catholic church in my city has two almost-full skeletons of saints, which is pretty crazy. And apparently they just had the relics analyzed by archaeologists, so that's kind of interesting, so I was reading the news article about it in the local paper, and then hit this: "Catholics venerate relics in part as a reminder of the saint’s holiness ( Read more... )

Heee, GHOULISH! The only thing better is if she'd worked in zombies.

Oh my god, if The Office becomes watchable again, it will be heaven and nirvana and paradise and other synonyms of JOY.

MY ONLY LOVE BANGING MY ONLY HATE, ETC

If you changed that to "my only love banging on their only hate" it's practically a dream scenario, though. The difference ONE WORD can make!!

Hey. I heart you. FYI.

Ahahaha, I'm surprised they didn't find it relevant to, like, add that some Protestants think the Pope is the anti-Christ. Just good solid unbiased journalism!

I am seriously still in such shock that the quality of The Office went up so severely. AND I DID NOT EVEN MENTION HOW RYAN FOLLOWED KELLY TO OHIO, WHICH IS AMAZING.

Lolololol look, you take your Harry/Dracoing out of here, missy. :P <33333333

Ahahaha oh man, it's such a relief to have you say this, since I am pretty much expecting someone to come in here and try to argue me into liking Ben. :( Someone on my flist once said that they thought the issue is that Adam Scott's default move in comedy is that when he's trying to be funny, he comes out at "be an asshole." Which makes sense when you think about him learning comedy by being the asshole in Stepbrothers, but it is NOT a tone of voice that works when you're basically playing a romantic lead. LE SIGH. RON SWANSON IS A ZILLION TIMES THE MAN YOU ARE, BEN.

This cut text is the most accurate cut text of all time:

The Office????????

I had a lot of feelings and it was weird and I felt very much like I needed a guidance counselor to give me a "ARE THESE CHANGES ALL NORMAL?" pamphlet, only for a resurgence of The Office emotions instead of puberty.

I've seen a lot of speculation that Pam's going to be upset with Jim for taking the job and deciding to uproot the family, which, ugh, murder me, just murder me right in the face. YES she should definitely point out that he bought a clown house without telling her and then decided that they'd be moving out of that clown house to buy a new clown house in Philly without telling her, but fffffffffffff if this gets framed as "Jim has to convince Pam that they should dream big and do more with their lives" then YOU'LL HAVE CHINS. YOU'LL ALL HAVE CHINS. Oh fuck, I really hope I don't get sucked back into this show and all my hopes and dreams for Pam only to have it play out like a ninety-chapter MTT epic where Jim saves Pam from her own inability to ( ... )

IT WAS SERIOUSLY SO CONFUSING, when has a show ever come back from, like, a million seasons slump??

But ughhhhh yes, everything you said is exactly my worry too, I CAN FEEL THE FUTURE RAGE SURGING UP INSIDE ME. I am trying so so so so hard not to get mad about things before they've even happened, but I really feel like it's probably going to go in that direction and it just makes me so furious in advance!!! THIS SHOW BETRAYED ME TOO BADLY IN THE PAST, I CAN'T RELAX INTO ENJOYING IT NOW when I know they're probably just going to retcon Jim into being awesome and Pam into being some shrew wife who only wants babies for life fulfillment the way all women on TV do! D: D: D: Haha okay, deep breaths, deep breaths. We better all just band together in this exciting yet nervewracking time!

Thank god it's not just me on the Ben-disinterestedness. Seriously, Leslie is not a child. One of the things I loved about her relationship with Dave was the mutual respect. Basically, I still want Ben and Chris (though I mostly feel nothing towards Chris, good or bad) to go back to Indianapolis. And they should have a Donna storyline with Leslie. That would be interesting.

Oh my Goddddddd, he is just so boring and gross, right. I want Ben and Chris OUT, over the summer I rewatched season 2 and it was just so great, WHY DID THESE WHITE DUDE LOSERS COME IN TO RUIN MY FAVORITE SHOW.

And for serious, the continuing neglect of Donna is ridic, RETTA IS SO FUNNY AND INTERESTING AND AWESOME, MORE OF THAT PLEASE.

I think my very last straw (after a lot of straws) was the model UN debacle. These people make each other HORRIBLE. Why couldn't they just have left after the Harvest Festival? That would have been a perfect ending. Ben and Chris sent away because Leslie is so awesome. Boo, show.

I, too, had odd Office feelings this week. Jim? Whhat? It may have been I rewatched the entire series on Netflix this summer. And the British version, which ended so much stronger...

They don't make houses like that in Scranton. moireach September 24 2012, 19:50:55 UTC
Haha as you know, we were super cool in 2006 and also now.

HAHAHA. brb getting a t-shirt printed that says "super cool in 2006 and also now."

I can't believe we're having Officey feelings in 2012. What's next, posting on TWOP and watching that edgy new Colbert show?

Also lolol GOSPEL TRUTH MAGAZINE. I would hella read some fic on that Seth/Amy scenario, dude.

In conclusion: PAAAAAAAAM.

Hahaha, but not with the frequency of the glory days of 2006!

I am still really pissed Pam did not become a graphic designer, I feel like that NEEDS TO HAPPEN, sales and office manager, wth, that is STUPID. GIVE HER HER DREAMS BACK.

(UGh, and that is what early Pam/Jim was!! JIM SUPPORTER HER DREAMS AND HAD NONE OF HIS OWN!! RECLAIM RECLAIM! SHE SHOULD BE THE ONE SUPPORTING THE FAMILY WHILE HE STAYS AT HOME WITH THE UGLY BABY!)
