I keep meaning to make a big post about how Parks and Recreation is the best thing happening to my TV every week, isn't it great, you guys, I watch every episode at least six times, etc, but then I always get really lazy and... don't. Instead, will you accept this Ben/Leslie fanfiction co-written with tearupthesky?

This is EXACTLY how I think something between these two would go down, AND:

Oh, this was SO GOOD. I admit, I was a little uncertain when I saw the rating, because I feel like these characters are so sweet and sort of ridiculous, so reading porn about them is weird? But you wrote that in perfectly. I love how Leslie is usually sort of bored about sex and seriously, I'm trying to think of a list of things I liked about the sex scene and it is everything. It made me feel, I don't know, things I really didn't expect to feel! I was as surprised as Leslie Knope, is what I'm trying to say.

I love all of the rest, too, like Ugly Paul Rudd, and the bantery flirting, and the evidence that Leslie's not a nerd being neatly organized in a color-coded binder, and Ben's mouth is warm and open under hers, and, wait, oh no, who did that?! I love how you use a lot of asides, it fits Leslie really well, since we know she's always talking to herself. Basically this is the most awesome thing to ever awesome, I adore it and want to have its babies.

Oh man, thanks so much! I know, the mockumentary format usually makes people feel weird about NC-17 stuff too, so I'm so glad it worked for you even so! The two of them really are so sweet, they kill me. BEST PAIRING.
