I keep meaning to make a big post about how Parks and Recreation is the best thing happening to my TV every week, isn't it great, you guys, I watch every episode at least six times, etc, but then I always get really lazy and... don't. Instead, will you accept this Ben/Leslie fanfiction co-written with tearupthesky?

This was beyond excellent. By far the best Leslie Ben I've read so far, and not just because of the smut. :) You actually captured Ben and Leslie's personalities really well. Please write more!

YOU ARE A GENIUS. This was wonderful and beyond amazing and perfect and THE THOUGHTS THAT LESLIE THINKS.

I have been been met with many skeptical looks when I announce my feelings about the SMOKING HOT SEXUAL TENSION between Leslie and Ben and how if they don't bone then I'm going to cry and contemplate writing a zillion word story where they get married and have babies and run for political office and win but then you went and WROTE THIS STORY AND IT WAS SO GREAT. SO. SO. GREAT, a thing of beauty and a joy forever.

Oh man, thank you so much! I didn't know you were into this ship! BUT WHO ARE THESE CRAZY PEOPLE GIVING YOU SKEPTICAL LOOKS, CLEARLY THEY SHOULD BE GETTING SOME KIND OF TREATMENT FOR THEIR ISSUES. Seriously, if those two don't bone in canon I am going to cry forever. (Haha, or my latest insane thing to worry about is that the show is going to get them together but then BREAK THEM UP, OMG THAT WOULD BE SO SAD. CRY FOREVER. That's a normal worry, right?)

Anyway, you should totally still write that story, there needs to be so much Ben/Leslie for me to reaaaaaaad!

EEEE THIS WAS JUST SUPER AWESOME AND DELIGHTFUL. Man, I have been having not the greatest day, and this was just a wonderful pick-me-up at the end of it. The smut's fantastic, but seriously, Leslie and Ben are spot-on characterization wise, all their lines are things I could hear on the show.

(Also, I hear you on rewatching the episodes over and over again, I've watched 3x02 at least three times already and I'm only expecting that number to climb.)

Oh my LAWD.

I was always wary of NC-17 stories about these two, just because they're so sweet, but no one's done it wrong yet, least of all you. This is so wonderful because they had that silly fighting but it's still got this warmth and sweetness to it, under all of it, and that's just so perfect. I just adored this and Leslie is always the fucking best and Ben is so adorable and fergfthghvn.

Also, "Now you're what, three feet tall?"

Favorite line, maybe.
