Okay, I'm going to try to get back in the swing of at least OCCASIONALLY posting to LJ, good lord. H-how are you guys?

Yessssssss, nothing_hip. I just, maybe it's what we've needed all this time? All I know is I was driving along the other day listening to Tracy Chapman's Fast Car (which I know is not cheesy enough for the community, but sitll), and thinking about how I could apply lyrics from that song to ANY FANDOM OR PAIRING THERE IS, and, uh, I just wanted to write some songfic. Like Lorelai freaking Gilmore.

I think "forming a douchey hats club" needs to be an LJ interest.

Sometimes I think about how Ellie Kemper is living my dream life. I hope she's enjoying it!

Hahahaha, Ryan and Simon, SO RIDICULOUS. That weird dynamic they've always had, and then Ryan went and kissed Simon on the temple on live national television that one time, and I...honestly don't even know.

Can I second the recommendation for Justified? It's so good and witty and well-written, and Timothy Olyphant is just...unbelievably attractive, holy hell. I started watching it last weekend (in an attempt to watch something non-British for once in my life) and marathoned half the season, I liked it so much.

We kind of started idly watching True Blood and, IDK, Bill and Sookie bore the shit out of me, but Lafayette! And Tara! And god, poor dumb Jason Stackhouse and that hot-as-hell-V-addict Amy (Lizzie Caplan: CALL ME)...and ERIC, wow. Okay! Sold! We just finished S1 so don't spoil me!!!

Anyway, looks like ABC is getting in the game with a show that looks squarer than robot shit, The Gates, which I think is probably Desperate Housewives + Vampire Diaries = for sure gonna suck.
