Patches! Who names their kid that, anyway?

Last night I saw Page France in concert, which was super awesome - even the openers were good (and surprisingly hot, so yay eye candy?), but the concert didn't start until 9, there were three opening bands, and I had to get up early today, so I have come out of the experience thinking a few unconnected things, for instance, a) I am getting way too ( Read more... )

I've been totally over Jim/Pam as a ship lately

*siiiigh* That makes me so sad. I haven't quite hit that point yet. But I thought the last episode was a lot better. I hope they continue to bring more of the happy. I can only take so much angst from my comedy, dammit.

I knooooooow, it makes me sad too. But yeah, the most recent episode was a LOT better - Jim and Pam just naturally being a team and taking care of Michael warms my heart. This has to be the beginning of the upswing... right?

Yes! It had a much more S2 vibe to it. And if I remember correctly, Andy Drew's desk is way in the back and Dwight is at his old desk. So with Ryan in NoMan'sLand with Kelly, Jim's old desk is open!

I am totally waiting for Jim to move back to his old desk! Let's bring back the Jim/Pam, you guys. It's been too long.

I am joining nothing_hip mostly because I need more downloads of embarrassing music, since I am apparently never ever going to write anything ever again. Also for reading Kelly Clarkson-induced fiction in an easily-accessible form. I am so punk rock.

Hee, obvs, everyone needs more embarrassing music! And hey, you never know when inspiration might strike, so. I have high hopes for you, young lady!

Seriously, I was like "Kelly Clarkson? Where? Man, I need that song." My life has been so different (read: sadder and more legal) since those halcyon college days when I was always downloading shit from Napster and Audiogalaxy and having a million virii on my computer at any given time. Torrenting/me = anti-OTP.

I am torn between wishing desperately for inspiration to strike and wagging my finger and telling inspiration it better not freaking strike during finals again because getting better than a C+ in Evidence would have been nice, you know?

Yeah, God, I never torrent music - it's all about lj and mp3 blogs, for sure.

Heh. Yeah. Do challenges help you write at all, or not?

How that kid was a comic genius at 16 is just beyond me.

I have no idea, but I don't think I'll ever stop finding it awesome.  He's got a lot of vision for someone so young, too; I still remember how much this interview impressed me.

Dude, right? He's so freaking amazing. George Michael slays me. "Isn't that what makes it funny? I'm laughing. Go fish. Uno."

Buster: Can I offer you a can of soup?
George Michael: ... Can it open a can?
Buster: Can what open a can?
Both: *stare at the hook* OH GOD.

*dies*

Oh, and George Michael's sudden, choking sob after Ann breaks up with him?  I think I collapse into laughter every. single. TIME.

Hee, ohmygod. His sad Charlie Brown walk after he gets dumped? "Way to plant, Ann!"

Man, I'm not going to lie to you, I'm totally psyched for all the terrible 90s pop that's going to go on in nothing_hip.

(Haha, dude, do you have the mp3 for "Unwritten" by any chance? 'Cause I wanted to do that this week but I don't have the file!)

I would SO read Into the Woods fanfiction. I'm just saying.

God, Maeby is like my favorite TV character of all time, I swear. I MISS HER.

Ooh, YAY! That would be so great!

(I hope your computer gets fixed okay, btw - that happened to me one time and it was so upsetting. :-( )

makes me miss season two Jim so much. It really is too bad that dude moved to Stamford and never came back.

Man I'm glad I'm not the only person getting this feeling...

I know, right? Why did Jim send his wretched identical twin back to Scranton in his place?

I know... evil twin! Eeeeeeviiiiiiile!

He's missing.... joy I think. He used to take joy in even the smallest mundane thing and I don't know if it's someone writing him differently or what's happened but he's definitely not the same...

He's TOTALLY missing joy. And what kills me about him and Pam is that a lot of the time it seems like he doesn't even LIKE her anymore, like neither of them enjoy being around each other in the least - HOW CAN I SHIP THIS UNENDING MISERY? The bad feelings just pile up and up. Auuuuuuuuuuuuuuugh.
