Any suggestions for things (eg, museums) i need to see in New York City this weekend
('cause everyone's your friend... and everything looks beautiful)

I keep meaning to cancel my Netflix account because I tend to pay for it but not use it, but I'm still active right now. I could order the Dollhouse disc (I presume it's #4 of 4 for season one) and let you watch it while you're here (or bring it to NYC and you could take 45 minutes out to watch in on a laptop).

It seems silly to spend time while travelling watching dvds,
but that would be neat. I'm not bringing a laptop with a cd/dvd drive,
(no, not even the one with Mabel, the bellringing program, on it)
and would feel a bit awkward asking around for one.

The Met is wonderful - more wonderful than MoMA, IMO. In particular, the Met's hallway full of Rodin sculptures is next to the impressionist wing, and the cumulative effect is almost overwhelming. I have not yet been to PS1 (the "contemporary" section of MoMA, because the main MoMA stops around 1975ish), but I have heard very good things about it.

The subway museum is nice if you like transit, and the Cloisters are great if you like medieval art in a medieval setting in a park (they have the unicorn tapestries, among other things).

Sunday looks to be clear, so I recommend taking in Central Park at that time.

The American Museum of Natural History is across Central Park from the Met and is also quite nice, and its paleontology section is really good.

I sounded negative about MoMA, but that's just because the Met is SO GOOD. MoMA has a James Ensor exhibit right now that is really good.
