But I'm so glad I did. I found your livejournal from FF.net because I'm a HUGE fan of "Bond." (Seriously, Bond has ruined me for other H/D fics :P) I saw this story and I knew it was going to hurt. And it did...a lot. But in that bittersweet, totally-worth-it kind of way. I love your writing. It is so raw and powerful. I have never seen another fic where the author has remained so true to the characters. I feel like I'm reading the actual books--though if I may say so, I feel like you could give JK a run for her money. (Forgive me, Rowling!)
This was beautifully heartbreaking. Thank you for sharing it.
I truly hope you keep writing! Do you have any original stories in print? You could definitely make a career of this if you haven't already!

Your speculations about magic and the wizarding legal structure were both fascinating and interesting! It makes perfect sense that twins would have some sort of magical bond and your ideas were really creative. And of course, the balance between doing what seems Right and what seems Objective in courts is, well, constant.
I can only assume your epilogue was meant to be nicely ambiguous, as I've read it twice and already changed my mind about what choice George made. Either way, though, this fic was an amazing emotional roller coaster of awesome. Thank you so much for writing it!
