I just sat and read this all in one go. I couldn't stop. What a wonderful, deep, thoughtful, fascinating read. Your writing just gets better and better. As you know, for me, Draco belongs with Harry as a general rule. Imagine my bemusement when I caught myself cheering on Asteria when she proposed to Draco! The shock as I realised I actually hoped their first time was going to be beautiful! And it was. You captured the teenage fumblings and over-excitement perfectly. I feel I'm not eloquent enough to adequately express how much I LOVED THIS STORY. 'Cos I do. Thank you.

Wow - thank you!

Absolutely!

I realized at one point that I'd kept Harry out of this story completely, without intending to. I think it's because if he'd wandered in Draco would've forgotten all about poor Asteria ;)

::beaming:: Thank you!

I'm so glad you liked it! Thanks so much for your review :D :D :D

I loved this story, it has such heart to it. It was very poignant in places and very uplifting in others, it also felt very real, plausible. I loved Draco, subdued and slowly finding his way towards a different way of being. I liked Hermione's maturity and I loved Asteria.

Beautiful.

Thanks for sharing

I actually didn't intend for Hermione to get in there quite so much, but ended up kinda glad she did.

And thanks so much for your review!

I, too, ended up reading this all in one go, which was a bad idea, but also a very good idea! There's so much that I loved. I love that Draco never really transcends his own prejudice, but learns not to pass it on. (He noted with approval that even in his thoughts he didn't call the man a Mudblood. That line says so much.) I love the scope of the story you're telling, how the war affected everyone and in different ways. Asteria is completely awesome, but also very human. And since I'm a big Cedric fan, I love that named it Diggory house. :) Thanks for a completely believable post-war read!

Oh my goodness, this was just spectacular. I so enjoyed this; loved your portrayal of Draco (which almost never happens - I didn't even like Jo's!), loved your Asteria, your Hermione, Neville, Hannah... all of them. The form and the tone and everything about this was just perfect. Hope it's recc'd far and wide.
