As part of the celebration of Higashi's birthday, I summarised some the info from the first part of Higashi's book, Kawasaki Kid. This book is a MUST HAVE for his fans, it really goes into detail on everything about his life

I enjoyed reading this, and will probably come back to read it over again at some point :D

I love that he goes into his childhood memories and experiences; I always want to know about their childhoods, and how they grew up to become what they are. I feel sad that both his father and step-father turned out to be destructive people, but I couldn't help thinking that his mother was amazing for bringing up Higashi and his sister, and at the same time instilling in him values to make him different from those men. Although Koichi (when Shounentai went on Domoto Brothers, Higashi mentioned the incident where he didn't even realize Matchy had been with them) and others have mentioned Higashi's tendency to drink a lot when they all get together, he seems sensible and disciplined XD

It's been a while now and I would really wanna read more about Higashiyama-san ^^
