so.... I saw the image of it (before clicking on it to load) and my first thought was Higashi-Jedi? /shot (Can we tell I've been watching Star Wars lately?)

Very beautiful and graceful! I think part of the real beauty of a performance like this is that you can really see and grasp how controlled every single movement is- from the flick of the wrist to taking a large step. It's easy to lose that in faster and flashier dances. It's also even more difficult because mistakes are far more noticeable and difficult to cover up!

so beautiful 0_O and i'm really amazed at how he danced so gracefully (at that time he was 32), how he could back flip that smooth.

this is really awesome.

Sorry, I know that Higashiyama-san is always excellent but i'm a fan of Kanjani8 and i'm so used to my boys who are even just at their 20s but known for worst dancing group in JE, who mostly can never dance properly.

Yeah, the smooth backflip was so amazing! He did it so nice and slowly, it's like he was floating in the air.

Hahahaha Kanjani 8! I remember watching Ohkura in the making of 鏡花水月 and he was saying how he's not used to dancing seriously and was really nervous about filming with Higashi and Mabo :'D

I never watch Playzone before... Heck. I never watch Higashiyama dance except from Countdown & SCP... He is such a good dancer. Duh. I think I should find/watch more video of him. 8D

I'll be uploading PLAYZONE 2003 and 2008 to my flist soon enough. There's also 2005 and 2006 at Hikaru's dl page. You can also find 2001 and 2002 over at tanokin.

Higashi's such an amazing dancer. He made me want to tackle dancing again (I was in ballet when I was very young, but I hated the classes. I also did hip hop for a while but the classes kinda died lol)
