My handwriting is almost bipolar. :"D Sometimes it's super neat and small, and sometimes (especially when I'm tired) it becomes this loopy cursive. But at least the 6 years of elementary school really drilled the basics of cursive to my bones. XD
I'm actually a bit disappointed that, apparently, all our essays in university are supposed to be written on computer and printed out. Even in high school the standard was a hand-written one, you needed to ask for permission to write essays on computers.
I never got cursive down in elementary school ;A; And my teacher who taught us that was a real ass lol Nobody liked her, seriously ;w; But I'm happy that I'm finally able to write in cursive naturally :D
I guess they want us to learn how to prepare reports on the computer, since everything is digitised lately and everyone's expected to be able to use a computer esp in work ;w;
Nifty idea. I'm in! Wrote a bit of a sample today and will post in a bit.
My handwriting when I write quickly is hideous. My careful writing is decent, but that's probably from writing on the blackboard when I taught. My normal writing is, well, plain. But I love writing letters and such so I want nice handwriting. It doesn't have to be beautiful, just nice. (^_^)
Ugh, my handwriting is all over the place. So I SHOULD try to improve it but... I write so much faster in my nasty, sloppy handwriting. Perfect for lecture notes. My Japanese handwriting is even worse, especially my katakana. I'm a fail Japanese girl ;_;
Your line about Higashi makes me smile though ^_^ And also, all my elementary school teachers said I would have to write in cursive from high school on but I have yet to use it other than when signing my name. Tricky teachers...
Ehehehe *blushes* And I love cursive, but I never mastered it in elementary school ;w; Really happy that I get to write in it now :D (And lol, your teachers :'D They did it out of tough love, I'm sure)

Same here, my fast writing is so many levels of horrible, I can't even begin ;A; I guess the main thing is that it's at least neat and legible :D
