I should have known just to email you about this! This is exactly what I'm looking for, since it's addressing exactly what the problems seem to be for my students. Not that I think all, or even most of them, will take advantage, but for the few students whose problem is not motivation or desire to learn, but lack of good methods, it's a great place to start.
Also, one of the most important things I think a teacher can do is show kids just what a wide variety of ways there are to study. We're generally not trying to teach them a specific subject, but trying to teach them how to learn. And, honestly, as a student, I find that what works one day may not work well the next, so having a variety of ways to approach the task means that I always have a way to study.
