So I think my first real use of Live Journal will be to the post some of the tons of the things I have been cooking/baking, etc (well not the recipes that are all my own--those must be kept secret!). I'm sort of obsessed with the idea of starting a little gourmet bakery in a few years, probably one that makes "old-fashioned" desserts and candy, i.

from what i remember, you're an amazing cook! i would totally go to your bakery. it'll be so fun. i've often dreamed of opening a bakery. sigh. do share recipes. i've been short of time lately so the only things i've been making are crepes. fast fast fast. but, recently i've discovered that a nice port wine pear sauce is delicious with warmed grapes and baked goat cheese. super easy dessert.
