This is Adam's paternal grandmother's recipe. It was exceptional. I used my Challah bread as the bread for the bottom layer, but had to use loaf bread for the top. It was very tasty. I also subbed cooked bacon for the ham, and I used Cheddar instead of the Old English cheese. I also added a touch of seasoned salt and some herbs, for some flavor
