An LJ friend says she's lost the inspiration for journaling. I feel her pain, I usually think about my daily life and say, who wants to read about this? But here goes, to let my friends know I'm alive and well. ( Read more... )

Funny now that ive finished work, and have time to sit and watch shows, i still keep missing them. A lot of the us shows such as Bones, the mentalist and others are now being fast tracked to Australia. That means we are usually only days or a weekend behind the usa broadcast in some cases. TPTB have finally realised that, Australians were sick of waiting years, and now the internet were giving them the opportunity. It must really have hit where it hurt, viewer ratings
I might catch a show here and there and some on line, but now i pretty much wait for the dvd sets
I read the live journal at least once a day, i'm always interested in what people are up to. It just takes me at least 6 months to have enough to post that makes more than two sentences.

You know, I'm having so much trouble finishing even one Special Olympics scarf. It's the yarn. I hate to be a yarn snob, but I despise acrylic yarn, and this particular acrylic yarn is so stiff and rough feeling. Bah ( ... )

Jen, you get karma for inspiring your friend's group to make scarves! I agree the yarn is terrible. Fortunately, they don't want anything large like sweaters or big shawls.

As for Moonlight, the vampire show, it was canceled after one season. However, it is scheduled to be shown in reruns on SciFi beginning in January. Just at the time the DVD comes out, what a coincidence, eh. It will be on in the 9:00pm Friday slot, where it used to be on CBS, ironically, so catch it if you can.

I love Jasper Fforde. Thursday Next is the greatest! I have to catch up with the latest in the series, #4. More mayhem and silliness ensue, I'm sure. Have you been to Fforde's website? It's sponsored by the Toast Marketing Board. And don't you want a dodo for a pet?
