i think i need more details of the whole situation. where'd you meet him, how did he ask you, are you purely watching movies? or is there food involved? it sounds date-ish, but i don't know how you know this particular guy.
once you get there if he turns out the lights and sits very close to you, then i think you can draw the obvious conclusion. until that moment, i just don't know. i'm interested now. you should call me and tell me about it. :)

I agree, I have been on dates like that. Since it is more casual, he may figure you would be more comfortable. It all has to be taken in context? Have you done this with him before? Does he do this often? Did he ask you?
