Arthur's proposal story was delightful and the kiss even more so. I love stories where the characters are too thick to realize they're in love until the issue is forced. This is certainly a good one.

“You’re right,” he said, sounding slightly awed, as though he’d never thought of it. As though that wasn’t one of the main reasons he’d sought the promotion.

He felt his stomach drop, and told himself it was because they’d started their descent into Juneau. This makes me all sad for Arthur. Because he totally feels a great deal of affection for Merlin.

“I’m not,” Merlin said. “My family is.” I love this because of course it's completely how he'd feel about wealth.

“Should be difficult for you,” Arthur said. For some reason, I love it when Arthur has hurt feelings, 'cause it makes him seem more human.

He was pleased to see Will deflate a bit. Aw, I love protective Arthur too!

Arthur looked down at his glass, watching a bubble rise slowly from the bottom, bursting open when it hit the surface. It was quite fascinating, really. Awww, he's jealous!

"Your family is really nice."

A moment, and then, "Yeah, they are."

His voice was fond, mixed with a touch of regret. This is sad but also a little sweet. <3
