There's a glass pebble beach rather like that on St Mary's in the Scilly isles, where for some mysterious reason the bottles from wrecks wash up, but the ice definitely adds a something to the light in that photo. It's lovely.

Good to know. The chances of my being either around the Scilly Isles or around Vladivostock are probably quite equal,

The glass-blowers' island of Murano in Venice used to have a lovely rounded-glass pebble beach back when I was small; but they must have cleaned it up (!) because it was no longer there when we returned some decades later.
