More travel, for fun this time

1 Melbourne in spring is lovely. Tasmania in spring is like Middle-earth. The hobbity bit is Battery Point in Hobart, spilling over with roses and rosemary. The top of Mt Wellington looks remarkably like the more blasted bits of Eregion and the Trollshaws, complete with giant dolomitic rocks that definitely look as if they wake and stroll about

How I wish I could travel there one day. Who knows? Anything is possible. I used to have a cousin who lived there, but she's long deceased and I never knew or was in contact with anyone else in that branch of the family.

It was. Tasmania may be the most beautiful place I have ever been to, after Chile.
