I didn't even realize it. That's crazy! I never got the big deal with 'Friends', but 'HIMYM' is absolutely amazing.

I practically grew up with Friends, so they'll always be my #1, I have some very nice memories that iclude them... buuut, I agree HIMYM is just to quote Barney awsome. :D I adore it. If not for anything else - then for Allyson Hannigan and Neil P. Harris. What can I say, Joss Whedon owns my soul. *shrug*

But seriously, I don't find these similarities a bad thing per se. Some might say that copying is also a nice compliment.
