Yesterday I had a most wonderful dinner at a French restaurant for Thanksgiving.  I went with a friend whose family is also far away -- neither of us were traveling for Thanksgiving again this year, so we made the most of it as we usually do by spending it with a mutual friend whose family is in the area, or doing our own thing (as we did this year

When it comes right down to it, I'm thankful for a roof over my head and food to eat and a family that will never allow me to go without either.
