LOL, and the ironic thing about the bagels is that they are actually very un-New-Yorkish - they really don't do bagels well here at all. :-)
And the gnocchi - my kids haven't even *tasted* this recipe, so they have no grounds for making puking noises just yet. Will see how it goes with that tonight. :-)
Quorn comes in lots of different forms, so it is quite versatile. We use the chicken-esque pieces in stir-fries, and the mince-esque type in things like lasagne and cottage pie. You can also get sausages, escalope sort of things, "chicken" breasts .... we haven't tried those though.
