breakfast has become my biggest challenge. UGH!
sounds SO good. the "new york" bagels made me smile.

i love gnocchi, and my youngest will even help me make it - but retches about it too :-)

hmm - may try crepes this week.

thanks for sharing!

LOL, and the ironic thing about the bagels is that they are actually very un-New-Yorkish - they really don't do bagels well here at all. :-)

And the gnocchi - my kids haven't even *tasted* this recipe, so they have no grounds for making puking noises just yet. Will see how it goes with that tonight. :-)

your menu is simple and delicious.
I love reading grocery lists and menu plans. (I also love to read cookbooks and recipes for pleasure.:) )

I like reading recipe books too. But, I very seldom actually get around to actually using any of the new recipes :-)

Sounds great to me!

What else do you do with quorn besides stir-fry?

Suddenly I feel like eating crepes ... mmm.

Quorn comes in lots of different forms, so it is quite versatile. We use the chicken-esque pieces in stir-fries, and the mince-esque type in things like lasagne and cottage pie. You can also get sausages, escalope sort of things, "chicken" breasts .... we haven't tried those though.
