* I finally got the ass-kick I deserve found the time to write my Paris report for the people who funded it. As always, it wasn't really that bad once I had started with it. As always, I spent only 1/100 of the time I passed bitching and moaning about it with actually writing it. God I'm so lazy and disorganized that even I hate myself for it.

The ass kicking was done by Ilja, the guy from Heidelberg who was with me in Paris. He was very nice about it, though.

By the way, I've read both fics you linked. I liked Night Shift more, although the other one was good too. The silly socks just killed me.

The socks were what did it to me, too. So sad and yet so plausible! I think the other fic maybe works better if you've read "The Other Black Girl". Have you?
