I don't know. Some of it makes sense, some doesn't. I think that the author tries to put the words into their mouth, so as to make them look more sophisticated. Also, he goes on about this being 21st century protest, and we criticize it from the 20th century point of view, which I think is a lot of bull. I don't know what's so great about them not wanting to formulate their demands. The complaint about bankers getting richer while we are getting poorer is kind of lame. Hollywood actors also are getting rich, never mind various state officials that perfected the art of bribery. There are very specific issues about our financial system and corporations that they could complain about and that I would definitely agree with, but not on the level "they make way more money than I ever will". Well duh.

My expectation are that #OccupyWallstreet folks will eventually formulate and narrow down their agenda. Well, if not, no one will remember them for more than traffic disturbance in a short while.
No, actually I don't remember. I think they were always pretty clear about why they are unhappy. Doesn't mean that they all had the same wish list, after all it's a movement, not a political party. However, they never claimed absence of a goal as their strong point. Also, they did not attract commies, fascists and antisemites.
A bunch of them already formulated their agenda, which reads like a communist manifesto. I don't believe we will hear anything of value from that direction.
