There´s a group of French people in their early twenties who have been been walking from Paris since July and did the last 700k with a dog they adopted (who is really really cute), compared to that what I´ve done is very very small. I´m not quite sure where I´m going with that except to say that I´m really nothing special.
P.s. are you sure you don´t want a vulture? :P
You will of course be in a position to pick up your own falcon very very soon.
I assume that she is on her way to Finisterre by foot.. pretty wild country , with few if any chances for internet. It is about 80k, so will probably take her 3-4 days (she sounds pretty tired so possibly closer to 4). There was no internet there when we were there in 2003 but may be by now. She will probably stay the night and bus back to S d C the next day (hopefully after burning some clothes on the rocks!). I think she is due to fly out Sunday so we will probably get some news Friday or Saturday NZ time. K
