On the Night Watch
My sister misshoneybee and I have completed the first night of true babysitting for my brother John and his wife's two babies. Tonight we have another night watch with the two preemies, Elizabeth and Eliana. They are about 4 pounds 11 ounces, with dark hair. Diningroom Chairs
Mom and I recovered the black dining room chairs today. In the process, we had to remove most of the previous fabric that my sister Grace had covered the seats with. Her material was beautiful, but it didn't match our dining room, and on closer inspection, we could see they were somewhat dirty. Quilt work
Today Korina came over, and we all quilted! Mom, Missy and Korina are working on new baby quilts in BRIGHT blue and pink :-), and I'm finishing a quilt I started a WHILE ago (at least in 2005, since that date is stitched on it, but I probably started it in 2004). Tonight my mom, sister Melissa, and I went to hear my uncle Richard and the orchestra he plays in. First he gave us some board games and other items that his wife had owned. He'll be renting his mobile home soon, and going back to TN. He doesn't know what to expect after that ( Read more... ) -

Crayola Fun
The last couple of days, I've been eyeing dough and modeling clay on crayola's website, thinking how enjoyable it would be to get some and make stuff with Michaella when I go to Texas.
