Did I not send you Being Human???? I swear, I burned it, wrote up a gleeful, squeeful note to go with the disc and then... what? Did I completely blank on sending it out to you??

OMG, and here I've been so brokenhearted that you didn't like it enough to comment and it's my #1 favorite thing I've seen in the last year. I was wondering why you were ignoring us whenever starfish1295 and I went all *hearts flowers GEORGE* in her LJ back in Feb!! LOL!

Man, I really hope you enjoy it now. ;)

Crap, I hope I didn't misplace it!

Hm, no, I just went through the stack of stuff you've sent me over the last few months, and I don't see it. At least only one of us is losing her mind here. ;)

No problem - we're getting it starting tonight anyway. I'll definitely let you know what I think after I see the premiere episode. :D

I really am losing it. I looked all over this mess of a desk, through all the discs - even the labeled ones - and the thing is, I even remember putting it in an envelope because I sealed it with an adorable kitty seal. *g*

I don't actually recall, you know, mailing it or anything, but surely if I went to all that trouble… Then again…. LMAO!

I really hope you love it. I was charmed off my butt by it, and George has joined Mr. Jones and Mr. Seaborn in my very small stable of very favorite characters of all time. Really, everything about the show is wonderful.

Well, you're in luck, I loved it! We both did, so it's definitely on my Must See list after this. And just like the Torchwood miniseries, we're getting the uncut versions. I hope this is SOP with BBCA from now on.

Where do I get an icon?!? Hee!

Good to talk with you this morning. I just got on lj and saw you had posted again. Envy you getting BBC. Of course here we have good ol' Cox and its crappy stations. I will check at Best Buy to see if they have the Torchwood DVD's and probably purchase them, depending on how much they are going to charge for them. I put another Karl icon that I snatched for you to admire on this comment. Talk with you soon.

You can't believe how thrilled I am that we get not only BBCAmerica, but also BBCA On!Demand. I think if we ever moved back to Gainesville, we'd have to invest in a satellite dish. Ain't no way in hell I could be satisfied with Cox Cable.

Sorry the Torchwood dvds are so damn expensive. It's ridiculous. If I stumble across them cheaper, I'll let you know.

Hi, butting in here to offer you DVD burned copies of Torchwood, if you find the price too steep to catch up on the whole thing. If you're reluctant to give out a snailmail addy I can send them via ann_tara. Same goes for Being Human, though I only have the DVD rips of that, so no subtitles or spiffy menus.

This is so kind of you. I would very much like copies. Ann_tara will send you my address. I was talking with her over the weekend about whether or not to buy the 1st season but at $70 a pop, if I didn't like them I would be out some money. Again I thank you so much. If you need me to send you money for the dvd's I would not mind at all.

We both needed something to scrub off the gloom and doom from our brains.

I *know*! Wasn't it grim?

Yeah, not really with the happy-making, that's for sure. I'm glad they got a lot of critical acclaim for the miniseries, though. That's a coup. :)
