Talking about SGA, believe it or not

Sometimes I wish there was a way to filter topics from your flist so that way if you never want to see anyone discussing a certain show one day, or, conversely, only want to read posts (or see cut tags) about that show, you could do that. Yup, that would be a mental health-saver on some days.

In case you didn't know my unpopular fannish opinions on SGA, with comment on a couple season five casting spoilers. )

Personally I'm hoping the destroying of the midway station means more Caldwell - whom I adore. (grin)

I would LOVE to see more of Caldwell! In fact, that's who should have taken over command of Atlantis after Weir was gone. Lost opportunity!

But like you said, if Midway is going to stay out of the picture, then the Daedalus needs to come back into play more often. Hope springs eternal. :)

I don't love the Teyla preg storyline either. When she was walking through the village in that black leather looking get-up it brought back sad memories of Xena the pregnant warrior princess. It would be great if Michael is somehow responsible for the pregnancy and somehow the baby is taken or dies. I really don't want endless seasons of mommy Teyla.

I have similar thoughts to you that the Carson that was blown up was actually replicator Carson. I never considered the possibility of an AU Carson.

I loved Midway and Teal'c, but definitely the best was Ronon entering the jumper at the end and the chat with Shepard. Yum.

OMG, you're right! *ack* The resemblance is uncanny! Yup, I hated that story line too. ;)

Fingers crossed that Michael either has something to do with the kid, or will take the kid away.

I don't think that's the most likely scenario, but I'd love it if the explanation was something other than the most obvious being Replicator!Carson. ;)

Even though I'm no longer watching, apart from the stray episode here and there that promises to appeal to my particular interests, I agree with everything you've said here.

See how easy that was? *g*

I've started wondering if this show ever gave me what I wanted from it, at any point. I think it was all in my head. Kind of like how whenever I do catch an episode, it's never the same one the rest of fandom seems to have gotten on their SciFi channel. *wink wink*
