Got mikes at rehearsal last night. Mine never worked. I was rarely heard. (They're still applauding.) But my glasses with tape and my clip-on were a big hit; I plan to rehearse with them as much as I can.

Ended up hosting two cast parties this weekend for the dance concert. Much the same, both nights. The world has passed on. Did some pillow-fighting and water-dousing for the first time in years, though; that was fun and a half. That thing has happened to our walkway when you let it go a day after a big snow and passersby trample it down, track by track, into something almost icy and far too hard to shovel. Once I get headshots done, my part in the publicity of the Tower Dancers Concert is ended. I leave it up to word of mouth after that--no more posters, displays, or press releases. It's really a jump from the quantity of hoopla to the quality of the performance. And quality qualifies.

I think the entire cast has gotten sick, the old Enfermo, in the past week. And now I bring up the end, the caboose of cough, struggling to breathe without spreading this thing.
