My grandparents gave me a copy of Anguished English when I was a kid (because this was fun reading for me). So many wonderful examples of that sort of thing on college application letters!

The newspaper headlines were pretty good too. "Two Russian ships collide: one dies!"
Heh. I'm glad I'm not the only one who can appreciate that kind of proofreading schadenfreude (on the part of Reuters). The sloppy typing on the part of job applicants is just annoying; I've seen far too much of it myself.
