Ace Lost Calendar Contest
Ah, but it was a near thing! It looks as though he came in about sixteenth, and he needed to place no less than twelfth (or thirteenth, I guess, if the cover photo differs from January).
But thank you all very much! I can tell some of you voted for Ace - I just can't tell whom, so whoever you were, thank you, thank you.
His photo is picture #19, running in the snow. He got 169 votes, which means he raised double that, $338, for the work of the rescue league.
It's not really a popularity contest, or even a photography contest. It's a contest of who can, and will, spend enough to put their pup over the top. The big winner is a terrific photo with a mountain range in the background, #52, with 550 votes ($1100). No, wait - photo #16 got more, 577 votes.

Fearless Leader (accidentally?) blanked the totals for some of the low-ranking pics, either by accident or... I don't know, maybe she redistributed them? So this may not be totally accurate, but there it is as best as I can tell right now. Looks like another twenty bucks would have put him over, but we just couldn't do it. Maybe even ten bucks, if the cover is not a duplicate. Owwwwooooooh!
