Following Up on Michael Vick's Dogs

A long article with generally good news; only four of 51 were euthanized or died in shelters. Vick is still in prison but I expect him to rejoin the NFL this fall. What pisses me off is listening to people speculate on what team will pick up Vick when he's out of jail. Some talk is that the Saints might grab him.

Normally, it would take a pact with Satan, written in the blood of kittens, to make me drop my Saints. But if they so much as try to get that man, I will never watch a game of theirs again.

Do you have time to drop their head office a note saying so?

Maybe separate notes to their owner and the local paper.

I'm with you. If he joins the Eagles, or the Bears, I leave.

Yeah, we're there. I'll sign that oath.

Vick Getting Out May 21 ankhorite February 27 2009, 10:23:05 UTC
If you have cable news on, you know by now - he's being released to house arrest (which can include traveling to job opportunities, such as football practices and games) on May 21 because Virginia doesn't have a halfway house slot available.

I bet Yard Guy two years ago that Vick would be back in the NFL by this fall.
