The sun goes down, and the Brucolac comes up. He's still full of restless energy - he seems content to just keep his PINpoint in his hand, lest he be delayed even a second in hearing from Doul, but has seemed to have shifted down from the breakneck recklessness of last night.

"I dreamed." Which is apparently a good thing? In any case, he goes to a window, sipping the taste of the sea out of the air with his tongue. The waves are too loud on the beach, but it is close enough.

"I hope you haven't actually spent the day walking through a fog of self-disgust."
