Diurnal firefly and violet toothed polypores, what's not to like! What are the little black structures on top of the mushrooms?

The black structure, I assume is another fungus, but I don't know really.

Is that Ellychnia corrusca?

I don't know much about fungus ids either but I just acquired a fungal id book from school which I'm excited to get into :)
