[fic round-up, part 2]
So the Twelve Days of Christmas was an absolute success, which I am very excited about! Twelve ficlets in twelve days. :D I think a lot of them got lost though, so now I shall give you the round-up so you can go check out the ones you may have missed.
1. A Questionable Arrangement, Saeki/Fuji, PG-13 for daisy_chan, who wanted to know how Saeki and Fuji started sleeping together in the Sasuga Tezuka verse. Brasil is involved. This was my first attempt at Saeki/Fuji, but it was loads of fun - they're such an odd couple. XD
2. I'll Keep You Warm, Tezuka/Fuji, PG for slylittlewill, who prompted with "gloves". They can be so cute sometimes. ♥
3. Fuji + Plants = TROUBLE, Tezuka/Fuji, PG for dhorz. She didn't prompt, so I decided mistletoe was in order. Also, insanity. Because while Tezuka/Fuji can be cute, it can also be eccentric, cracktastic madness. *cough*
4. The Perils of Foreign Cuisine, Tezuka/Atobe, PG-13 for good_chaser, who asked for sausages. Or snow. I gave her both. Also Canada, ski lodges, and poutine. Don't ask me what I was on - I blame it on my Canadian roots. Also my perma-craving for poutine. *_____*
5. Dangerous Confessions, Tezuka/Fuji, R for jazzy_peaches, who wanted a follow-up to the ficlet I wrote for daisy_chan. It's somewhat uncomfortable, perhaps, but there is also proof that once Tezuka and Fuji get their hands on each other, they don't stop. :D
6. A Different Approach, Minami/Higashikata (aka the Jimmies!), G for mighty_gratira. This was incredibly satisfying to write, mostly because it was so fucking hard, and I wouldn't've written it for just anyone, but I'm glad Indy poked me into it because I'm always so happy when I get to explore the psychology of minor characters. :D
7. Scare Tactics, Kite/Tezuka, PG-13 for everyone! This was also Sasuga Tezuka verse - Tezuka's first kiss that was hinted at and never actually talked about - so I wrote this as a thank you to everyone who read that fic, or really anything that I wrote last year. XD
8. Awkward Conversations, Tachibana/Sanada, PG for solaas, who is evil and wanted to see them have a real, not-entirely-composed-of-grunting conversation over tea. Which was a huge challenge, but was also tonnes of fun, and as a bonus, I got to throw in one of the pairings I actually kinda sorta like but would never actually write. XD
9. The First Kiss Is The Hardest, Saeki/Fuji, R for juudenkanryou, who is trying very hard to get me hooked on the pairing. She may be succeeding. *cough* Anyway, this is Fuji and Saeki being evil to each other, as they always are, but also being hot enough to melt snow. Naughty things.
10. Points of Contention, Tezuka/Fuji, NC-17 for reddwarfer, who requested ages ago that there be Tezuka/Fuji fic with handcuffs (which is where Sasuga Tezuka came from), so I thought I would write her a follow-up PWP to that, since it was kind of a monster and went way beyond what she'd requested. Fic #4 of 12 in this freaking verse. @_@
11. Outclassed, Sanada/Akutsu, PG-13 for nimori, who is also evil. She'd been watching that part in the anime where Echizen and Sanada play each other and Akutsu sees them at it, and wanted fic from there. So, I tried. Two of the hardest freaking characters to write. But that only made it that much more fun. :DDDD
12. It's Good To Be Boss, Sanada/Yanagi, PG-13 for chez_maltesers, who wanted something to do with board meetings. And Renji's a naughty little bastard, so this wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. Well, it was. Hard, I mean. But not in the way I was worried it would be. *cough*
Bonus! mighty_gratira also prompted me to write a very silly drabble on New Year's Eve, and it turned into a proper ficlet, so enjoy some PacMan, Bane/Kentarou and Saeki/Kentarou, PG.
So in round-up, that was...four Tezuka/Fuji, two Saeki/Fuji, one Rokkaku, one Yamabuki, one Yamabuki-Rikkai, one Fudoumine-Rikkai, one Rikkai-Rikkai, one Higa-Seigaku, and one Hyoutei-Seigaku. Four of those fics were from one 'verse. And lots of them were just pure insanity. @___@
