Hey, if you pass through southern France, you're very welcome to visit us!

As for travelling, the best way is to use a plane :) I know people who travelled by car and boat from Southern France to Athens, but it's a looong trip.

Dude, we're actually staying two nights right there, at the Kyriad Prestige. How cool is that?! *bounces*

I will give you a graduation ceremony. Perhaps it will be in Spain, but it will not be in Spanish because I know like two words of Spanish and it would be really, really short.

I'm different in that I'm not really the sort of person who needs closure - I want to finish, move on, put things behind me and always get suckered into the ceremony and long goodbyes. But um, yeah not about me, about you. And I can totally understand why you'd want that. Though I think this will be its own sort of transition period (I know it will be for me). Maybe unconventional, but definitely a marking point and enjoyable.

And if your parents try to make it all stressful and not what you want, I will beat them up. Okay, no I won't beat them up. But nasty looks are always available.

As for Athens, I'm going to ask Gretchen at some point what she reccomends in Athens and also other parts of Greece, since she studied abroad there. Seriously, stress or what, knowing what the hell to do in Europe on our own or not? It's going to be really fun. ♥

I shall be sure to invest in a boa as a makeshift stole. Pink, I believe is the colour for music. *thinks* I shall have to check on that.

I think there are good things and bad things about this. It is not always good to induce closure and cut ties and so on and so forth. But at the same time, it gives me peace of mind. Mostly I just don't like being out of control with so much up in the air.

Hahah the last tour had its miserable moments, but I am older now, and Tanya is too, and you are there as well, so hopefully this time will be better.

And yaye! Asking people who are in the know is always a good thing. *pleased* I think it'll be fun, even if it does end up stressing me out, because omgEurope.

You're up in the air? :-P At least you know what you want to do. I'm literally going, coming back, going to Lumos and then maybe moving in with Alexa or maybe moving to San Fransisco or San Diego and maybe working part-time and trying to stage manage or something or maybe working for my dad or in marketing or something else ( ... )

Ryan Air has reeeally cheap (as in 20 euro) flights between Euro nations. Definately the best deal for long distance, otherwise a Euro pass.

Yeah, that totally would be stressful. Bad timing on your parents' part! And I also think it's a pity they couldn't have tried to be a little more understanding about your graduation and other schools, etc., and just your need to give it all due consideration.

As for the Europe travellings, I haven't been that far southeast, but good luck with your plans! :)

Yeah, bad timing indeed. Oh well. They want their family vacation, they're getting it. If it turns out I didn't get into the PhD program here though, I'm going to be really pissed off to miss my graduation. But we shall see. Hopefully it won't come to that.

Thanks, hon. ♥ How are you doing, by the by?

I really hope you get into the PhD program! (For sake, but also because it keeps you around a bit longer!!) :)

Oh, Anj, things are starting to get better. I'm just getting over a horrible bout of tonsillitis and a sinus infection combined. I was supposed to be in Toronto right now, to audition for the Banff Opera as Theatre program, like, this very afternoon, but I was too sick and had to cancel. I'm still battling it, and leaving for New York on Wednesday for a grad school audition on Friday. Wish me luck!!!

Kind of nice that your family still does family vacations. :) That was my other thought. I mean, yeah, travelling with one's parents - never a great time, but still - nice that they try! And hey, my parents were all about the camping - vacations in Europe were not exactly their style! :)
