A huge percentage of Australians are pretty anti-American. Me, I can't fucking stand them. Except, that's not true. I've got loads of American friends, and it's strange, cos they're pretty much the opposite of everything you hate about Americans. I don't like Americans, but shit - I wouldn't want to be racist or anything. Cos like, i've got American friends and they're ok. *rolleyes*
Quite a while ago I realised that even though the vast majority of Americans who can vote are going to be in total fucking opposition to me, it's pretty important I don't judge a whole country by the majority of its voters.
You make good points, but you're not doing your argument any favours by suggesting that every Australian likes everyone from the United States. Many of us despise the US culture. But we don't tar every US citizen with the same brush. The education system is good here, so we know not to do that.
