Well my laptop just totally fucking died on me.  Poof.  Got that blue screen from hell and now it won't load -- loooooooooooong delay when the XP boot starts and then a black screen with error messages.  The fuck?  And it's the WORST possible time thanks to the freaking essay that's half done on the HD and now I am probably gonna loose it because

I think they should be able to at least save your files... if it boots (even if it takes ages), it CAN boot, so if they insert the XP disc in the drive they can possibly repair it... Good luck!
