I've come to feel that I'd be happy enough without TV as long as I had broadband internet access:) Still to try it out though!
I do agree on life revolving around TV at times at least. Given my erratic timings, I'd pretty much stopped having fav. serials, except for f.r.i.e.nd.s. I always tried to catch the nth rerun of that every day, even after they moved it to 12:30 am *ugh*, and even though I know I can get DVDs of every season so very easily. Just as I was about to convince myself to miss out on it every day, Star thankfully scrapped it on the night slot.:)

Then remote control got invaded.
Fought, the war for remote.
Got hooked to the 'intelligent box'. I whole heartedly refute simplex communications. - year 2000.
Chose to willingly give up (read: innocently lose) waging the war for remote.
Then /me lived happily ever after! :-)
