That's just so utterly Toby! Sam's being cheerful and preppy and Toby's all, "If I drink, will he go away?". :) The story was sweet, definitely!

And also:

He rubbed his side in a mock-hurt way. “Hey, now didn’t we talk about you not doing that?”

She grinned in response. “It may have come up, yes.”

“And?”

“And after you finished talking, I decided there are some things that, as your assistant, I just have to do.”
