Bellini in Venice
Джованни Беллини (c. 1430 - 26 November 1516) и Джентиле Беллини(c. 1429 - 23 February 1507) были сыновьями Якопо Беллини (c. 1400 - c. 1470), считавшегося лучшим венецианским художником своего времени.
Зятем Джованни Беллини был Андреа Мантенья (c. 1431 - September 13, 1506), а одними из учеников Джорджоне и Тициан.
В середине 1470-х годов Беллини обратился к масляной живописи - видимо, под влиянием Антонелло да Мессина, посетившего Венецию в 1475-76 годах.
