Ask me any question you've always wanted to know about me or my life or my opinions on something and I will answer it. You can ask as yourself or even anonymously!

You know, this actually put a smile to my face because my initial reaction was, "woah, tough questions first"

I'm kind of embarrassed to admit that at the time, I had never really thought about it. When it went into effect, I was already too old for it to effect me - and I wasn't as politically aware as I am now. Thinking about it now, I hate how selfish it sounds

Even now my feelings on it are a bit muddled, especially with my younger brother currently in elementary school with learning disabilities (he has an IEP, but it isn't nearly as bad as it sounds). As it stands now, my feelings for it are more negative than positive - I dislike the idea of an Academic Yearly Progress, or at least its consequences, and it just seems like there are too many gaps where this system could, and does, fail.

Ugh, I'm sorry if it seems like I'm talking in circles - I've never actually looked extensively into this issue and it seems like any response I could give sounds uninformed, idk.

...I feel kinda stupid now DX
