Ohhhh, I want to see American Idiot. Even the set gets me excited. Mmm. I feel a bit odd that Jesus of Suburbia has a name now, but eh, change happens.

Yeah. And I feel weird about the "surburb" in question getting officially named Jingletown. I know it's mentioned in "Homecoming," but still. But all this is nothing compared to my ridiculous amounts of excitement.

I have never seen/read Kick-Ass so I can't comment on that but as to the 'Video Games as Art' argument I can. I was actually debating this topic with one of my students a few days ago. It was such a shame because I really can see artistry in a lot of the graphics and in some of the storylines I have seen(I don't play any of them because--while I was a master at Duck Hunt and Pong I suck balls at all current games ( ... )
