This is my art for the Big Bang 2009!
I've never been part of this kind of challenge and it's not my first fanfic illustration either....yet, I've never been so nervous about my graphics!
I'm not going to talk about the story because I don't want to spoil you,the graphics won't "show" you much about it but I hope they will make you feel the wonderful ( Read more... )

I'm...I'm...I don't even know what to say. I GASPED OUT LOUD WHEN I SAW THE IMAGES. And...OMG, the colours! A book cover! And then the graphic where it looks like a book! The wallpaper! The icons...the divider! The trees on their faces, the shadows...as always, you've left me speechless. This is perfect, sweetie. Seriously. Your images bring that story to life.

Maybe I should have explained the colours' choice and all the trees and the cracked images because when I make graphics it's not all about instinct,I also "try" to use my brain!:P
But right now I just feel like sharing the artwork,maybe I'll explain later!
Also,we didn't talk about it before,or maybe you already know my "policy",but all the graphics I make are shareable,it's important to me and I hope you don't mind!Of course the illustrations are my personal gift to you,they are made for you...still,I like SHARING!♥

Just re-admiring your art. It really is a beautiful art set. Just lovely, so moody and gorgeous colours. It's ten years later and it's just timeless. I also have to say this icon of Sam's face and the hand is off the hook wonderful, all your icons on this thread are great. *Bows to master*

those shapes, branches, grabbing at the figure or growing out of his shadow... it's nightmarish

Ohhhh the banner is my little baby!I usually resize one of the graphics for the banner before the cut but this time I created something just for the occasion!;D
The idea of Dean's shadow shaping into branches came out from the banner!;D

I'd love to explain the process of the big bang art,I don't want to look like an arrogant though!:P
I like to use empty spaces because when you look at something full of images you kind of lose perspective,you lose sight of what's important in the graphic!And because I think colours and light and shadows and textures can speak even better than images,they recreate the atmosphere very well!

The faces should be the heart of the story,I wanted to recreate one of the scenes but then I opted for their faces' intensity because it tells me everything about this fic!
