Speaking from the non-slasher perspective, I have no problem with slash, as long as it is clearly marked

There is nothing worse then getting halfway through a good story, hit slash, and have your eyeballs explode.

But that’s just me.

Just a question, because I have a fic I'm doing this with -- what if there's no slash in the first part, but it's in the sequels? Is it okay to not label the first part slash and label sequels?

Just wanted to know. ^^

i think when you have that type of story you would label it like this-

title
auther
rating
warning: no slash for this chapter, but there will be some in the following chapters, and the overall series is slash based.
