Cancellation official

Looks like the cancellation is now official. There had also been earlier an Hirac Delest post about an email from one of the editors that had also made the cancellation sound pretty certain, but now it's definite. ):

New Andalite Chronicles cover art would definitely have been awesome. We should all mourn the fact that we will never get it ):

Just seeing how they handled illustrating an andalite would have been cool. We didn't even get to see Ax's head for book #8 :(

Oh, boy. I was ambivalent about the re-release but now I'm sad.

Definitely. I think I remember reading somewhere that Scholastic hadn't really put in the marketing effort for this that it needed.

Yes. But I have ranted about that before - at length - and so I'll spare everyone the tl;dr.

Damn it, damn it, damn it.. I really wanted to support Applegrant by buying these books new, since I never bought them when they first came out. I mean, I have new copies of 1-6, but... that's not enough :(

Sigh.

You probably still could by buying their other books? Which isn't the same as buying Animorphs, I know, but it's probably the only other way.

Either that or find a way to directly shower them with money.

That's true. :) I checked Amazon, and Everworld is actually not out of print like I thought it was, so I'm definitely buying those first of all.

Haha, yes, with mysterious inheritances from long-lost relatives ;)

...How is it that Everworld is still in print but Animorphs isn't? /scratches head

Exactly! :P
