OMG! I love this idea. I'm at work right now so I can't listen to the song but I like the lyrics you posted :)

For some reason I ALWAYS think of Rachel when I listen to "Animal I have become" by Three Days Grace. Like how out of control she can get. I don't even really like the song but here are the lyrics:

Yeah, I've kind of associated that song with Jake in the past (you know when he's torn up by guilt at the end for the deaths he's responsible for), but you're right, that does fit Rachel better!

I have an Animorphs playlist/album thingy that I should dig up and post (I love using a list of songs to tell a story - some of them are my own stories, some of them are based on shows/books/movies etc). I've been meaning to make one for each character, so seeing what others have will be really good for me

I always think of Tobias in the Neko Case song "Star Witness" when she sings

Basically just anything about red-tailed hawks makes me think of Tobias OBVS but also the whole song has this kind of tough/melancholy vibe. Plus the part about "my true love died..." AWWW.

It's the "there's only us" and "hold on, hold back the darkness" lines that get to me.
