I really like this Haruka introspective, especially this line:

but Haruka prefers to look like a woman without a skirt.

It sounds very true to her character.

I'm glad you found it in character. I'm more familiar with Michiru's charater than Haruka's, but always found Haruka inspiring and fascinating.

A woman without a skirt; that's my Haruka, mm... :P

This idea is so well done and original. I love how you bring to light the gender confusion we assume most people would have. I also love that she isn't a man nor a woman. She's Haruka. And that's all that matters. Great job.

I'm really glad that you liked this. I wrote it in a trance, I think. It just needed to be written. I've always adored Haruka for this particular aspect of her, the fact that she doesn't see gender (roles mostly) as something that defines her, even though she never tries denying her true self. As you say, she's Tenoh Haruka. She's not feminine, despite her sex, she's not masculine, despite her choice of clothing. She's herself.
