ARTISTS! and people with good ideas! if I was going to anthropomorphize a bird, like a bird-man that would look good and right next to a mermaid, what do you suggest? I haven't found a lot of good bird anthros out there for reference

For the bird-person, you could go the Harpy route, maybe? Back all feathery with a bid tail and big wing-arms?

And you can always go for just regular martial artists sparring if you're lost for people fighting. Or superheroes 'cause those always look really wham-pow.
