I must agree with this. I hadn't heard he compared himself to Kurt Cobain. Just wow at that. 0-o

Yeah I heard about that. Bieber comparing himself to Kurt Cobain is a joke.

Though to be fair, Cobain was a pretty whiny kid, too. Though in his case, he had a legitimately good reason to be whiny XD

Oh, Justin Bieber. I feel sorry for him because he seems like another flash-in-the-pan pop phenomenon who will die out once he gets past his jailbait hot stage.

Ah, Justin Bieber. ^^; My thoughts on him are basically:

Kid, I am really happy for you that some rich producer saw your homegrown video on YouTube and liked it enough to pluck you out of homeschool in Canada and propel you to stardom. That's great for you! Really. You are a modern Cinderella.

But, like Cinderella, you didn't really work for what happened to you. A fairy godfather waved his wand and now you're living high. That makes you lucky, just like being born male and white and boyishly cute made you lucky. It doesn't make you an against-the-odds success story. It doesn't make you inspirational. And it doesn't make you great.

So, y'know. Good luck and work hard, and maybe someday you'll be a musician in your own right...but you aren't, at the moment, and watching trailers for your big movie about reaching for your dreams, in which teary-eyed girls gush about how you're their role model, just makes me roll my eyes and wince.
